We’d like to quickly fill you in on the latest release, Spectra 2.16.1. This is a hotfix following the recent 2.16.0 update, which introduced an issue unfortunately.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, and we want to explain what went wrong and how we’ve fixed it.

What happened?

In our last update, we made some changes to hide unnecessary notifications in the popup builder to give you a smoother experience.

Unfortunately, this also hid important notices like updates and warnings, which are essential for staying informed about key changes. We understand how frustrating that can be.

What’s fixed in 2.16.1?

• Admin: We’ve corrected the issue where notifications were hidden across other admin screens, ensuring you can see all necessary notices.
• Design Library: We’ve cleaned up any leftover temporary “ast-block-template_data” autoload options in your database.

With this hotfix, notifications will now display as expected, and you’ll be kept up-to-date on all important changes.

How to update:

To ensure these fixes are applied, please update to the latest version by following these steps:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard –> Updates
2. Check the box for Spectra
3. Click the “Update Plugins” button
